"I hope they leave quickly and take some of the Denver ones with them."

Sadly, they have infested Colorado far beyond Boulder, Denver, or any of the I-25 corridor. When I visited the Four Corners area last year (where I grew up) I was shocked to see how bad the infestation had gotten. Durango is no longer recognizable to me any more, and even some of the smaller surrounding communities are showing signs.

I used to dream of the day when I would be able to move back to Colorado (especially the southwest part of the state), but now I have to say that I don't think I could live there again. Thankfully, I still have my childhood memories.

I would love to retire to the Ridgeway/Ouray area. Do you thing the liberals in the SW part of the state are the city types moving out, or more due to illegal immigration?

I am very sad (like you) that our once blood red state is now a “purple” swing state. I guess thats what happens when you live in the best place in the country - the libs find out and move in

Fortunately the SE part of the metro area where I live is firmly conservative. District 6 or Tancredo’s district! YAY!
