I know it’s changed MY life.
I had to shoot it out with three other motorists, AND engage in a sword fight, this morning on my way to work.
I tell you, it’s like the wild west out there ever since the Gang of Nine declared, against “all precedent”, that the 2nd Amendment protects an INDIVIDUAL right to keep and bear arms.

It never ceases to amaze me just how stupid some people can be. If making it legal to own a handgun in DC is going to make it “Dodge City,” what was DC before? Xanadu? Can these people be that dense? What is the thinking here? DC is the most crime-ridden sink hole in the nation, barring some other contenders who have nearly identical gun laws, from New Orleans, to Atlanta to London, but these fools just don’t seem capable of understanding the obvious. When you disarm the good people, bad people will victimize them.

Much of the press totally ignores all of the available data on concealed carry. They repeatedly predict mass shootings and “dodge city” scenarios every time the issue of firearms ownership arises. It hasn't happened yet. Do they think that the law abiding citizens of their city are less trustworthy than those of the other 28 states that have legalized concealed carry?

Editorials, columnists, anchors and pundits predicted it would result in an American Armageddon. That may have been true had it gone the other way.

What all these editorials from antis ignore (I’m not sure if this is willful or not) is that this decision doesn’t make it legal for convicted felons to buy guns. The criminals will keep getting their guns from the places they’ve always got them—burglaries.

The original article was a good tongue-in-cheek piece.
Nothing better to fight alarmist doomsaying than to simply illustrate their own arguments back at them.
