What in God's name is going on here? The Slimes is going to expose top secret information in order to enhance their declining readership?
This is why red-state America loathes the NYTimes. Can anyone possibly conceive of this happening during World War II?

Check out the whole article, the above is just a snippet.San Francisco talk show host Melanie Morgan believes that Times editor Bill Keller should be jailed for treason for approving the publication.
The maximum penalty for treason is death.
"If he were to be tried and convicted of treason, yes, I would have no problem with him being sent to the gas chamber," Morgan, whose show airs on KSFO-AM, told The Chronicle on Wednesday. "It is about revealing classified secrets in the time of war. And the media has got to take responsibility for revealing classified information that is putting American lives at risk."
Well, no, I can't imagine it happening during WW II - because during WW II, we had a Commander-in-Chief who had some concept of his responsibilities.
Within ten days of Pearl Harbor, with wreckage still smouldering, he imposed full press censorship by Executive order. A short time later, he had a comprehensive war propaganda office up and running, providing stories and guidance to the censored press. His Justice Department threated and in one case actually initiated sedition prosecutions for newsies who were a little too full of themselves.
Most important, he obtained the following language in his authorization of force resolution:
"the President is hereby authorized and directed to employ the entire naval and military forces of the United States and the resources of the Government to carry on war against the Imperial Government of Japan; and to bring the conflict to a successful termination, all of the resources of the country are hereby pledged by the Congress of the United states."
The government is being run by incompetents and intellectual pygmies.
What you see with this latest NYT atrocity is not the cause, it is the result.
