I skip right over the debate and state clearly that the Federal Government has no business in education. The quicker American children get out of these indoctrination centers, the better off we are all going to be.

In regard to Jindal; I don’t see either the pay raise or this bill as a big deal. The whole evolution argument has grown old with me. In the end it is a worthless theory and how much of it is right or wrong makes no real difference that I was ever able to discern. I am sure there are others who would beg to differ, but I am speaking from a purely personal perspective. Knowing or not knowing the theory is all the same to me.

I agree with you on the education front. I see the lack of a veto over the pay raise issue a bit differently; seems to me that he could be letting the “legislature” hang themselves with their own rope. I,for one, would never vote for one of these sleezeballs again after they pull a stunt like this. Isn’t the pay raise tied to some other legislation that’s really necessary? I don’t follow Louisiana politics that closely.
