Boy decapitated by roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia

A 17-year-old South Carolina boy on an church outing was killed Saturday when he was struck by the popular "Batman the Ride" at Six Flags Over Georgia. It was the second Batman ride-related death at the Cobb County park.

I just cannot imagine the sadness for this family. My son was just swept out to sea in Australia and still MIA...my heart just aches...and I am sure there is just aching....blessings and love to these folks!

Sad story. Feel bad for the parents who are probably just findout this evening. From the article it appears the kids claerly jumped two fences that were clearly marked for them to stay out. A month or so at a Braves game a 25 year old man was sliding down the rails along a set of stairs and he feel to his death. People just don’t think anymore.

The bottom side of the roller coasters should be inaccessible except to maintenance personnel who have to use a keyed lock in a door set in a fence.
So these kids simply leaped over the fences even though signs said stay away?
Sounds like the San Fran tiger cages.
