While media gushed over Hill and Barack's kiss and make-up ceremony in Unity, New Hampshire, Friday, a larger story was lurking in the shadows without getting much attention: Bill Clinton is still very angry at the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, and he's not close to calling a ceasefire.

I think it’s nice that this campaign has exposed the Clintons for what they are to so many Democrats. All the negative campaigning against Obama, the sense of entitlement and all that caught up with Billary this year.

Bill looked at this campaign as a referendum on his presidency.

The hindsight is 20/20, but we all learned that Hillary is not a very compelling candidate, and, that the Democrats didn’t love the Clintons as much as Bill thought.

Does it matter if the major media does or does not? After all, their influence is lessening each day, whereas boards such as Free Republic are increasing in influence. For example, the Washington Post as champion of the old media are attacking members of this board for starting the rumor Senator Obama is a hidden Muslim, despite the evidence we did not do so, but only repeated what others said. In the days of the Bernstein and Woodward-dominated Post, we'd have been ignored.

As long as the Internet serves as the great leveler of information, this can get out.

However, ethically and morally we must not post what we do not know to be true. Don't invent stuff about Bill Clinton or Obama; they will give us enough material by themselves to ruthlessly exploit their weaknesses.

I never saw any real negative campaigning from the Clintons. The media kept reporting that they were nasty and racist, but I never saw it. I thought she was pretty civil.
