Where is it supposed that he was born that would invalidate him from POTUS?

The constitution requires a person to be a natural-born American citizen to serve as president. If both his parents were not American citizens then there are some hoops you must jump through to get that status and it has to do with the mother and how long she had lived in the US.

If he were born in Hawaii as he claims he would be a natural born citizen regardless of the citizenship status of the parents.

The big problem is that it's never been a problem before. I think it's sorta like the Al Gore situation where he admitted what he did was a crime, but went on to say there was no controlling legal authority to prosecute him.

I would think, hope, that at least one Secretary of State in a state where he is being placed on the Nov. ballot would require proof of citizenship. Goodness knows you have to if you want to get your first drivers license or any number of other goodies.

The document posted on the Obama campaign website appears to be a forgery. It was posted on the KOS site as well.

Clearly, the matter would be resolved if Obama requested his birth certificate released. Have it reviewed by entities wishing to check it's authenticity and report it out.

Questioning his birthplace or other information on a citizen running for the most powerful job in the world should be standard procedure.

It’s in the article: Kenya, or some say, Canada. The point being that his US citizen mother had been outside the USA for more than 5 years at the time of his birth.
