What support - there is never any support with conservatives. Bingo! That's the one lesson that anyone seems to have learned when we gave away the House and the Senate and so many State posts in 2006. So the candidates chose to go after swing voters, cross-overs, and independents.

Yes, but they still think the GOP will come knocking on their door for them to save the party.

They never realize that the GOP is full of moderates who do not even want the ultra conservatives. So, the “teach them a lesson” tactic is exactly what the GOP wants and, gee, it opens up space for more moderates to run the party.

Our only chance is to grow our numbers and take over the GOP again - not run from it.
