“Please. Read up. He can be the False Prophet but he cant be the Anti-Christ.
Unless of course his birth certificate really is totally false and he was actually born somewhere East of Istanbul, West of Iran and Northish of Iraq.”
I am not convinced that the Anti-Christ has to be born in the Middle East. And it is my understanding that the False Prophet who introduces the Anti-Christ to the world is the last Pope who will be called Peter.

Peter the Roman, is the figure referred to in the Prophecies of St. Malachy, a fascinating set of predictions all of which have come to pass thus far. I remember reading of a mystical vision reportedly experienced by Pope Pius X in 1909 while granting an audience, he leaned back, closed his eyes, then suddenly awoke in fright, crying out "What I see is terrifying. Will it be myself? Will it be my successor? What is certain is that the Pope will quit Rome, and in leaving the Vatican, he will have to walk over the dead bodies of his priests."
As for the Antichrist, the question of 'who' it is has been the stuff of conversation for decades and centuries, but if I were going to point to one European figure that I think could at least be considered 'in the running', it would be the new French President Sarkozy.
Time indeed will tell.
