I’m a survivor. So is someone else very precious to me. At first this man’s words angered me. Now I pity him so very, very much.
This kind of attitude is every bit as difficult to take as the abuse itself was/is.

Sorry you had to experience something horrible, kimmie. Other than murder, there is nothing more evil than harming a child.
Be reassured all, that this man was also abused as a child.That is not an excuse for him, but no doubt explains his perverted rage.
I wonder how HE woudl feel if that was his little girl on the stand. does this guy have children? How shameful for them to have this father.

His bio was posted on another thread and included a list of the organizations he participates in. To me it seems rather suspicious that a large percentage of these organizations involved working with young people. I'm not overly paranoid but to me that seems like a red flag, especially when coupled with his expressed attitude. I wouldn't be surprised if more comes out about him.

He has, I think, 5 sons. Another one died in a tragic accident earlier in the year.

The rage that this guy had just makes me convinced he has been abused as a child and is most likely an abuser. To defend these child abusers is one thing if one is an attorney and is tasked with defending even the most hideous, but to have a tirade like he did just shows a darker side.
Very often someone like this guy defends the abuser because of the psychological process of “Identification with the abuser” ( a way to psychologically survive the abuse at the time.) Also, his rage may be a perversion of rage at not being protected as a child.
So, being involved in the childrens’ organizations may have two reasons 1) his convoluted rage at being hurt and wanting to hurt others while feeling sorry for the childhood suffering he went through and 2) where else would he find clients, ie pedophiles, who need his trial services, but at these places.
I wonder what his sons have to say about their father?
Fagan’s profile reads like an offender. He is involved with many youth groups, including Little League and the Boys and Girls Club.
I hope these organizations realize how dangerous he is.
