I am fortunate enough to have been invited to my best friend’s Keep for the fourth of July. We will play pool, ride badass four wheelers and shoot fireworks off of the propane tank. A few rounds may be fired at targets down by the river.
TheMom, Xenalyte, Allegra, Pax_et_bonum and eastforker & wife will be there as well. He is indeed a gracious host serving soft drinks, cocktails and BBQ second only to mine.
With a simple turn of a phrase he has turned y’all into blithering boneheads. Reread his posts. He was much more polite than most of you. I figured that his picture posted on his profile would only fool an idiot. I was right as usual as it did.
The only thing that would make the weekend complete is watching one of you say this crap about him to his face rather than from the safety of a keyboard. Y’all might not think that you would fit in a coffee can but I bet humblegunner could make it happen. It however would never happen because some would lack the courage to speak and the better of you would be helping stage the explosives or doing wheelies on the Raptor.

Could either humblegunner or one of his friends please explain the motivation behind his original post.
Many responded against him because, in that post, HG made unwarranted assumptions (judgments) about the original poster and then pointlessly attacked him. Perhaps HG is a great guy, I don't know. I have judged nothing about him except what is evident from his first post.
Read his first (polite?) post, and explain his motivation for it. What was his purpose in posting that? Anybody?

I would not phrase that as being polite. Your friend jumped on me and while doing so proved himself wrong on every occasion:
1. Rush had nothing to do with this thread, as I rarely listen to him.
2. I posted this not in idolatry of any radio talk show host, but rather to illustrate an example of the contempt that the left has for those of us on the right. The cartoon is despicable and this discussion has been a distraction.

Yeah, I guess I am the idiot. I looked at it for all of two seconds, as to be honest, HG was not worth more then a cursory glance.
It also seems that some people cannot have a discussion here w/o throwing out childish insults and attacks, that does not speak well for those that do so.
What a lot of posters either don’t know or forget is that Rush has received special protection from sarcasm, mocking, and especially outright hatred here by Jim Robinson.
A poster mocks Rush or his listeners at their own risk.
All a person has to do is to look at the shameful threads attacking Hannity that occurred here a year or two ago to see why. They ran into hundreds of replies and were totally unwarranted attacks on someone who champions the message of conservatism, and they began with simple mockery.
Jim set our long ago to protect Rush from those kinds of attacks and is very diligent and jealous of protecting him.
I don’t know what happened to HG, but obviously there was something more than just these few posts. Perhaps he can be reinstated; I don’t know how that works.
Anyway, have a great party and raise a glass to conservatism while you’re there!
