“Read his first (polite?) post, and explain his motivation for it. What was his purpose in posting that? Anybody?”

I actually met HG live and in person although he wouldn’t remember because I am very introverted and keep a very low profile.

I liked him immediately. He’s very friendly, warm and affable.

However, I still don’t understand why he becomes so caustic on the internet. I’m starting to think that he uses FR as his play-toy or sandbox just for his own amusement but I just don’t know for sure.

Maybe he can enlighten us although in all likelihood his response will be more attempted humor, if at all.

Two years ago, San Antonio, longish graying hair, sitting up
against the east wall of the patio most of the time.

I try to stay aware of my surroundings! ;-)

He still will not address what he hoped to accomplish with his post #10. There's really no good explanation for it.

According to those who know him in person, it would seem that he is nice guy (if your idea of a nice person is someone who when challenged in person will slice, dice, and mince a person down to the volume of a coffee can), but he has some darker attributes that only come out online.
