I don’t know what happened to HG, but obviously there was something more than just these few posts. Perhaps he can be reinstated; I don’t know how that works.

He wasn't ever banned. He's just having a little fun with his home page. HG is very much with us.

Whoever it is, he's a crappy cartoonist. It looks like a Rorschach test.

So are humblegunner and Eaker. Big time.

So why are they shooting at our own guys?

They're not, as far as I can tell. They just don't blindly follow everything a radio talk show host says. I personally enjoy Rush, but I don't take every word he says as gospel.

It's one thing to enjoy listening to these shows and to even be in agreement with a lot of the subject matter, but the worshipful stance taken by some listeners is discouraging. In the end, people should think for themselves.

I believe that was humblegunner's point all along.

Wow! A “Brokeback Mountain” moment. And on Free Republic. Who’da thunk it?

Anything else, punkass?

Calling his listeners ‘gulliable and easily manipulated’ is right out of our political enemies playbook.

It’s hard to tell the difference between some of his posts from those of a Code Pinker.

the worshipful stance taken by some listeners... I believe that was humblegunner's point all along.

Which was an erroneous assumption on his part as my post clearly did not indicate any such thing, more so because the reference was to Mark Levin.

In the end, people should think for themselves....I don't take every word he says as gospel.

Which is why I looked the cartoon up for myself to see if what I heard was accurate. It was and I decided to share with others.

It is kind of amusing that someone's error and misreading of a post has actually caused this much chatter back and forth. A simple "My bad" and admitting the misinterpretation would have been the act of a gentlemen with some class.

Ruch is a great inspirational speaker- why is your objection?

I was an idiot liberal before I started listening to him- I gotta admit he changed my whole life around

Getting a little constricted your your closet?

Good luck with that!

PS: Nobody I know saw Brokebutt Mountain as my friends and I don’t swing that way. Was it good? Hell, I bet you have it on DVD!

If you buy everything Limbaugh says as the gospel truth and let him tell you how to vote, you are gullible and easily maipulated.

As I've pointed out upthread, we are at war, and Rush is in the verbal arena of this war.

Going by your posts, how can people tell you apart from enemies who want to see us dead, the Code Pinkers for example? You use the same words they do.

Right.

So you think it wise to believe every word a radio actor says?

You think anyone who fails to revere this radio actor is an enemy?

OK, whatever.

You have issues.

Not at all, but readers of your posts will have difficulty discerning whether you are patriotic American who has just decided to use the words and tactics of our enemies to mock Rush and his listeners, or someone from Code Pink.

You keep bringing up code pink.

Isn't that like a dozen people who disrupt political events?

Sorry, I'm not up to date on the latest whack jobs.

Don't take Limbaugh too seriously, he's just a guy who talks.

Last I checked, most people can talk. It's not a special talent on loan from God.

You really should check up on them.

You sound like one, and you should find a way to differenciate yourself.

Conservatives who favor bannings are simply liberals at heart.

Word. Un-ban things and end the War on Drugs.

Code Pink is an ugly, Communistic, anti-American group who, among other things, picket our wounded soldiers outside Walter Reed Hospital. And yes, I’m serious. They’re ugly (some physically), Communist-like, and anti-American. They have sent money to terrorist supporters in Iraq.
