The Bible is not a Math text and you are an analist. Some truths are absolute.
The Bible is not a math text, but if everything in the Bible is inerrant then our understanding of pi must be incorrect. Pi must be 3 because the Bible stated so. This produces a problem because we know pi is 3.141592..., just as the Bible stating a young earth is a problem since we know the Earth is older than that, just as the Flood is a problem since we know it didn't happen (it was at the height of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, and they didn't seem to notice it).
There is no problem with any of this if you aren't an inerrantist.
