I am guessing the Sheriff’s Dept had the weapons under “Dealers or law enforcement” then transferred them to BW for use.

Now BW has possession of non-registered weapons - a big no-no. A dealer or LEO can't just lend an automatic weapon for someone to use.

They’d rather we be limited to shotguns and pea shooters.

Actually they'd rather we be limited to nothing. But what they will ALWAYS fail to comprehend is that we sheepdogs are always armed with the most lethal weapon of all and it's between our ears. Sure sometimes we suffer a misfire, but in the long run we'll win because those who attack these freedoms are universally unarmed in that respect.

How to tell if you're (like me) a SHEEPDOG

Looks that way. Seems like someone is playing politics in BATF.

Sad when BATF pulls this BS. Heck, maybe the local sheriff was out gunned by a gang, too? Anyone know that AO? Gangs are reportedly in the Military now. Anyone know?

ATF is a convenience store in the US ?

It will be soon, if the Heller decision is followed up. They'll be reduced to busting moonshiners and cigarette smugglers, which is how they started in the treasury department, pre-National Firearms Act which was originally couched as a "revenue" act.

the BATF has ruled

They aren't judges, not even administrative law judges. They can't rule squat. But they think they can.

They’d rather we be limited to shotguns and pea shooters.

As long as the shotguns, don't have short barrels, large magazines and/or are full auto, like this little gem.

Notice this from the story:

As a company that is fully licensed to sell, provide training on, or even manufacture weapons---including machine guns---we have worked closely with the ATF to ensure we are in compliance with all applicable federal firearms laws. We look forward to cooperating with the government to resolve this allegation."

So now they are raiding their own licensees who are complying with the terms of their licenses. Must be a really slow season and the JBT needed *something* for their next round of budgets.

Like I said, the Blackwater guys should have said, "show me the warrant" (Of course the problem with that is by getting the license, you consent to warrant less searches.)

Looked at the You Tube video of the weapon. I am an older man, who thought an M-79 with a cannister round was a great weapon for a SCU/INDIG point man. I know zip about today’s weapons.

Also, it looks like I best get my butt on the phone ASAP by Monday, June 30th to get my MOPH membership current and to life status for 50 bucks. That is very cheap next to most other service organization’s life memberships.

If I managed my recurring bills like I have paid certain service organizations, my FICO would stink. I have caused my own late fees for the past four plus years with one service organization.

The MOPH was one of the best service organizations I ever joined as they went to bat for me, and; they found the lost misplaced records for GSW’s.

You would think I could write a lousy check or give them a credit card number.

Seems like I cannot pour - out of a boot without instructions on the bottom anymore. I will call them Monday.

TY for the links.

Smile.

Thanks! Looking at your bio, I can tell you’ve served our country with great distinction. Thank you for your service.

There’s a short line in it that I’ve always tried to live my life by.

Lead by example.

Do that and you’re bound to do good!
