For a newbie like me...why not have a kepboard that is set up for HTML coding? I mean it would be nice not having to hit the shift key to access the <> etc? In fact, this keyboard sucks wet dog fur when it comes to ease of use. I think this is based on the very first typeset keyboard from the 1700s? I saw a ling while ago, a guy had invented a different keyboard where most words etc were accessible with very little finger movement. Maybe it's time to resubmit that.

That’s the part I don’t understand about it. If the problem was the information you could obtain from the certificate, it’s apparently all ok to see since nothing else was blacked out. It seems odd to black out that number since the only thing it would let someone know is how many children were born before him that year in Honolulu.

I purposely didn't use the HTML. It looks like you've got the hang of it.

Try a pic, now. Google your subject, find it, copy & paste the info in the _img src= ""_, substitute <>! If you have a photobucket acct or something, you can host your own pics!

Just a thought does the number on your birth certificate then get to be your passport number or social security number or part of the number or something like that.

If that were the case then I can understand why someone in this day of Internet fraud and identity stealing would black out the number.

I’m not completely convinced. Why is there no birth record when you search with ancestry.com?

IF YOU CAN SHOW ME HIS BIRTH RECORDS FROM THE HOSPITAL WHERE HE WAS BORN...THEN I’M CONVINCED AND I’LL DROP THIS.

IF YOU WANT TO RESOLVE THIS...GET THE HOSPITAL RECORDS. ANYONE CAN FAKE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE...IN FACT THE ONE POSTED HAS THE SERIAL NUMBER BLACKED OUT!!!!!!
