You are no Texan. We don’t cotten to that.
I have zero problem with others investing in our country.
It makes more money here, and they pay property taxes.
You should take it as a compliment that people in other countries would like to invest their money in the Lone Star State. We’re talking about business people investing money legally in your state; foreign investment helps create jobs for native born Texans.
Look at Toyota.....they have auto plants across the U.S., and support U.S. troops. Ford Motor Company lately has been pushing the global warming hoax and is trumpeting the gay agenda. These days, Toyota seems to have more traditional American values.
Illegal immigration is completely different. The threat from illegal immigration in Texas, like my former adopted State of California, is alarming, outrageous, and must be reversed. The Mexicans purchasing property in Texas aren’t trying to reclaim the state; they’re trying to buy a piece of the American dream, and they all have valid visas.
I remember back in the 1980’s when the Japanese were paying top dollar and buying up choice real estate across America. They (the Japanese) bought a controlling interest in Rockefeller Center in New York, and everyone was in an uproar back then. As it turns out, the Japanese had to sell their controlling interest when the recession hit Japan, and they lost over $1 billion on their Rockefeller Center investment because they overpaid.
By the way, if I were fortunate enough to live in Texas, I’d be in the Minutemen. I’m for legal immigration, but vehemently opposed to illegal immigration.
Have a pleasant evening.
