Conservatives love our country and what it stands for. Conservatives know that sometimes war is a necessary evil. Conservatives know America has problems, but point out that we have the maximum individual liberty of any society ever in history.
Liberals tend to be self-critical, if that’s the right word, about our country. They like to point out our alleged crimes, and point out situations where we haven’t lived up to our highest ideals. They criticize us for bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ignoring the fact that we didn’t start that war. They moan and groan about a history of racism and discrimination in this country, and give us no credit for ending legal discrimination. They love our country in their own way, I guess, but they don’t give us enough credit for being the greatest nation in the world, with the most individual liberty of any country ever in history.
