The Repubs still have a chance to ditch McCain and get a real candidate. Get on with it, Repubs, or be prepared to witness the end of our party.
How would the “Repubs” ditch McCain, when he has a committed by rule majority of the delegates? How would you get ANY of those who voted for McCain in the primary to support another candidate once you threw out THEIR votes and their candidate, who won the primaries?
How would you EVER again complain about the undemocratic Democrats if you overturned the results of an election because you weren’t happy with the result?
The time to “replace” McCain was when he was running. Instead, conservatives right here at FR were urging him on to victory in New Hampshire and North Carolina.
If they can do a bait-and-switch before the official nomination, and select Romney, they’d be in much better shape.
