I’m surprised that Obama isn’t leading by more after all the free publicity he gets from the main stream media he should have at least a 15 point lead in every state.

The longer this goes without Bambi truly pulling away, the more likely a McCain victory. Despite the attempts of a couple of polling outfits to make this look like a blowout, the reality is it is a very close race right now with Obama holding a small lead.

When the 527s start to attack Obama, that will tell the story IMO. If he can withstand the barrage, he could get a close win. I think it is equally possible he will implode under the pressure though.

What 527s are going to go after Obama? The vast majority have their sights set on McCain. Besides, though part of McCain-Feingold was overruled, it will still limit them some in that the election is within 60 days of the nomination.

Some marketing expert told the Friends this morning to just wait...Barry was launching a "shock and awe" ad campaign. That McCain was in trouble.

Bring it on, I say...everywhere you turn, you see Barry's face (TV, print, even on Yahoo and Hotmail!) The Drive-Bys fawn and swoon day and night at the mere mention of his name. He's even doing TV ads during the Olympics. Talk about an Obama Overdose.
