No need to shoot them down. Fly close in, rattle their cages, wave at the Russian pilots flying that 50's style turbo-prop technology, top speed of not quite 600 mph, if Moscow ever gave the order to mix it up, those latter day Bears would go down in flames as quick as you can say "dosvedanya".

We did work with them by giving them millions of dollars worth of armaments to keep Hitler from eating their lunch after the non-agression pact with Stalin was broken and look what it got us?

Korea and Vietnam.
