There's one in our neighborhood that's just plain crazy -- he's known as the dog that lifted a leg on Shelley's head. Shelley just shook herself off and gave him a look of total disgust, which he missed entirely. Poor Shelley! She edges away from him every time we meet.
Actually, I think they all have a little bit of "just plain crazy"...in them. I used to joke with my husband that our primary job, as the owners of a GSP, was to keep her from killing herself. On the other hand, she is a sweet and loving dog...a total couch potato; once we've worn her out.
I'd love to have a lab, my first doggie (and my best friend as a toddler) was a bundle of love named Blackie. The dog babysat me when I was out in the yard. My husband has allergies, but Belle's shorter coat doesn't bother him as much. So, I just have to admire from afar...thanks for the pics.
