Six men in police tactical clothing are suspected of shooting a man to death, firing more than 100 rounds into his Phoenix home in what some are calling a Mexican drug cartel hit.
Special Assignments Units heard shots coming from a nearby neighborhood and began to drive toward the noise Sunday. Detectives said once police gained entry into the home, they found the body of Andrew Williams, 30, shot numerous times, according to Arizona Daily News.
"We have seen an increasing amount of these type of violent crimes in the past five months," Phoenix Police Sgt. Joel Tranter said. "We want the public to realize that these types of crimes will not be tolerated in Phoenix."
Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz., said Tuesday on 550 KFYI-AM the he had acquired an internal memo identifying one of the suspects as a former member of the Mexican military, and he interviewed Mark Spencer of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association. The men were said to be wielding two AR-15 assault weapons and wearing full body armor and black assault gear similar to uniforms worn by Phoenix police tactical teams.

There are constitutional issues with number three; number four is already happening in AZ; and illegals don’t get food stamps.
...lots of unanswered questions on this one!
Who in their right mind is still voting for McAmnesty? Oh, thats right he is the lesser of two evils.
I believe the hospital there in Maryvale (51st and Maryland?) is a county facility. Perhaps coincidentally, my family and many of our friends and acquintances call that hospital Scaryvale.
Are you sure about that? I believe that the AGs interpretation of Prop 200 removed food assistance from the list of items prohibited to illegals.
My doubt aside, you know darned good and well that illegals are getting all sorts of assistance with the aid of phony IDs.
Do you honestly believe the high rate of identity theft in Arizona has nothing to do with illegals?
You can’t be illegal and get food stamps.
You can’t be a broken clock and give the right time.
Who do know who is illegal and getting food stamps? If you do report it.
Its against the law for illegals to get food stamps.
It's against the law for drivers to speed.
Are you starting to get my point? Or do I need to make it more obvious?

Becoming Illegal (Actual letter from an Iowa resident and sent to his senator):
The Honorable Tom Harkin 731 Hart Senate Office Building Phone (202) 224 3254 Washington DC , 20510
Dear Senator Harkin,
As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.
My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.
Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.
Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.
Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.
Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.
If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.

That kind of activity is going on all along the Mexican border near cross-border towns. El Paso, for example, is a war zone.
Now that’s bold and it’s a big problem. I don’t think many FReepers are surprised at this but I think a lot of Americans would be and want action taken.
