Exactly! After this decision, the next 70 years will be filled with both sides tying up the courts asking "reasonable" to be specifically defined. Each and every law that is on the books in each and every city will have to be challenged in court to get it either upheld or vacated. We'll go through this over and over and over with the ACLU and is democrat backers.
Thanks for reminding me, this would be a good day to spray the carpenter bees eating our porch.
“After this decision, the next 70 years will be filled with both sides tying up the courts asking “reasonable” to be specifically defined”
And, what is reasonable? It is relative; Relative to each and every individual situation.
Now, what is relative? And, does “individual” even exist now?
You are correct. This will be tying up the courts forever.
No. Not forever.
These terms will be specifically defined by the left, as soon as they take over both houses and the top spot, which is in our very near future.
No matter the decision, it will not be in our best interest.
They did mention reasonable control, but gave specific examples to make it clear what that is.
However, it does appear this does not threaten “may-issue” regulations as it would perhaps still be “reasonable” even to Scalia here (keep in mind he had to keep Kennedy to be victorious).
I will take this ruling over anything else; it still is pretty broad and a big victory for us.
