Obama says he avoided city, state corruption

This reminds me of Clinton's claim that he "didn't inhale." What a joke. It amazes me that these dimlibs get away with this stuff.

If you picture Obama as Pinnoccio, then instead of his nose growing longer with every lie, it is his ears.

So he is the only one. No associations with gangsters or corruption, eh? Pure as the driven snow?

No wonder Barack “I am the Post-Politician” Obama will say that. He is trying so hard to be the Neo or Post-Modern politician that right now Intellectuals are wetting themselves in anticipation.

The stereotype is that politicians lie, and market themselves so that they can get the public to think that they are telling the truth and that is bad. With Obama it would be a trace of honesty if he admitted that he is a partisan bastard like everybody else, and he will fight for what he thinks is right and not change his mind every minute. Unfortunately, Obama is a politician who must get votes from everybody and part of the job of being a politician is being a con-man, one thing in which Obama loves. May I remind everybody that one of the most successful politicians(Reagan) did that by making it a fight between him and Democrats?

Then again, it seems, only Reagan actually had a sense of humor, one of the reasons why I love him. Obama’s last joke about Republicans is that we are a Party of Social Darwinists. He isn’t ambitious, hardly funny, and drones on like John Kerry. Yet somehow this guy can make water come out of our faces, I don’t get it. Reagan actually seemed like he was having fun climbing the government steps, that he worked for America, Obama seems too serious at controlling whatever we do.

Which proves one thing, good marketing always works even if the marketer is a fraud and is copying speeches from another successful politician.

Would make sense. Why risk your career taking traceable small change from local Chicago hacks when Dubai and the invisible Hiwala beckons.

Start digging....

Just ask Alice Palmer, Hull and Ryan....he took them down by dirty bare knuckle fighting.
Obama is apart of the crooked Chicago Machine.
And I would watch out for those guys with the black bow ties...they will intimidate their opponents to get their Messiah into power.

Obama is delusional...he thinks he is another Jim Jones.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Jones

There is so much dirt on Obama it could fill up a Olympic Swimming Pool. One rumor floating around Chicagoland...Obama is a closet bi-s@xual.

So if he becomes our POTUS....he will be our First of Firsts.
The first bi-racial, bi-s@xual and bi-polar President who has close contact with the nuclear button.

Again, its just rumor....but my hairdresser likes to talk.
Obama also has a nasty temper just like McCain....but with McCain his out burst is for a good reason. Obama’s outburst is when you start attacking his big ears or didn’t say “Yes We Can” loud enough.

and I would challenge any Chicago reporter to dispute that basic fact."

Remember the good old days when the media would actually be offended by that kind of challenge, and would actually take it up?

Not any more. They will simply take Obama's word for it, and move on.

Did they really send 15 helicopters from the national guard to Iraq? Doesn't make sense to me.

Touring flooded areas of Illinois, Obama said he found 15 of the National Guard's 17 helicopters diverted to Iraq.

"Our military is strained to the breaking point," Obama said. "Our National Guard, as we saw in the Midwest flooding, can't function as effectively as it could. I was talking to National Guard representatives. Fifteen of their 17 helicopters in this region were overseas during the flooding."

Did Barack Obama say Iraq during the conversation, or did the reporter simply misinterpret. In the quote, Obama says "were overseas". THe Reporter said Obama claimed the helicopters were in Iraq. But did Obama say that to the reporter, or did the reporter here "overseas" and think "Iraq"?

Quincy was the only town really flooded and people needed help. Its not a big city and how many helicopters do you need to take care of that size population?

Maybe they only needed two in the area.
The other 15 were deployed along the Mississippi River.
State NG Units do help out other State NG to pull resources together if Governors permit it.

Obama has no clue how our military works or even the procedures how the State works during a national emergency.

Anybody in the NG? The NG Commander should have all the answers so we put egg on Obama’s face.

Obama went back to his home state to campaign trying to create another Katrina disaster. He also overstepped his authority by asking for Federal Aid without consulting our Govenor!

Lead, follow but Obama get out of the way!
