This defacing of the symbol of the Statue of Liberty with commercial graffiti is tawdry. Where have you been? The Statue of Liberty has been used as an advertising gimmick since the day it was dedicated.

Where have you been? The Statue of Liberty has been used as an advertising gimmick since the day it was dedicated. That doesn't make it respectful of the Creator-endowed liberties portrayed by the image. It doesn't make it right.
CNN used video of their news ancors reporting from a New York rooftop with people dying in the smoldering WTC behind them. That wasn't right either.
It's not about rights. It's about wrong.
