Now that's a revolver. I was watching an old murder mystery movie from the late 40s and the murder weapon was a 32 cal. automatic pistol and through the whole movie they kept calling it a revolver. I had to laugh out loud as the Liberal in those days didn't know any more than the liberals of today.

Yep, she’s firing a snub all right. You can almost date the picture by the way she’s cupping her support hand. That went out during the ‘80’s.
If you like revolvers, check out the revolver Betty is holding in post 11.

Indeed. When SNL in the first season made fun of “Squeaky” Frome by having her (played by Elaine Newman) pull out a gun on Jane Curtain saying “Die Fascist Swine” and pulling the trigger to a ‘click’ ‘click’.
The joke being that Frome was in prison for pulling a automatic pistol with a full magazine and the safety off out on President Ford, aimed it and pulled the trigger to a ‘click’ ‘click’. Dummy forgot to chamber a round!
Stupid libs on SNL (Al Franken, et. al.) either didn't know the difference or didn't have the right prop (couldn't find a auto-pistol prop in all of NBC?) because the gun that Elaine “Squeaky Frome” Newman pulled out on Jane Curtain was a revolver.
Still funny. Would have been funnier with an automatic.

Post 11 shows a real automatic revolver, the Mateba. It shoots from the bottom of the cylinder and is supposed to be easy to control in .44 magnum.
Too expensive to manufacture, though, they stopped making it a couple of years ago.
If they had made one in stainless steel, I would have one.
