A lot of times when I grab lunch to go during the week, there is a nice park a few minutes away and I go there. While indulging in fast food and soft drinks, I often have a technical book or magazine to read. Other times, I grab a nap for a few. Either way, I get some time to myself during the day. It drives a couple of control freaks I have known crazy.

I do the same thing on occasion, though I prefer listening to Rush on the radio while downing my lunch. And sometimes, if it’s cold or hot outside, I sit with the car idling with the A/C or heat on..shhh. Hey, it’s money

gosh—i love drive-thrus... i’d rather drive a couple of miles out of the way to go to a drive-thru than hit a closer fast food place without a drive-thru... the only drive-thru i avoid is In-n-Out... their food is so much better eaten in their white and red restaurant...
