Currently, it is only legal to drill for oil off certain parts of the California coast. Should the law be changed to expand drilling for oil in coastal waters or should the law stay as is?

59% Change To Expand

33% Stay As Is

Have you always thought drilling should be expanded off the California coast? Or, did you only recently come to think drilling should be expanded, given the price of gasoline?

50% Always for Expanding

48% Recently Due To Prices

2% Not Sure

If drilling is expanded in water off the coast of California, will the price of gasoline go down at once? Go down eventually? Or not go down?

14% Go Down At Once

46% Eventually

35% Not Go Down

5% Not Sure

Wowzers. Reality check hits California.

Let’s see how widely this gets distributed in the mainstream media.

The most votes for Bush (and against) came from California, Californian’s give the most money to conservative and Republican causes, and contribute the most money to keep this website up, which, as you should know, is in California.

It’s the Feds fault that we are overrun by a bunch of poor Mexican immigrants that perpetually pull the “D” lever. Coming soon to YOUR state.

I hadn’t realized it’s a few weeks old. Somebody tagged it into the California topic, so it’s getting some fresh looks. :-)

Actually, we in Florida were overrun with illegals from Mexico and Central America up until late last year. Tthe downturn in the housing industry and better ICE enforcement has thinned them out lately. My lawn service guy is now working by himself and I asked him where his two helpers (I had suspected that they were illegals, but didn’t have the nerve to ask him) had gone. He said that they had “gone back to Mexico”. I was glad to hear that.
