As bad as the guy is and as many questions as there are about him I just can’t imagine he could get this far in the process as a non-citizen. You just couldn’t keep something like that underwraps in a campaign that has been going on this long. It would have leaked out very quickly.

With what I’ve seen from the Dems, it’s possible.

You’d be amazed at what can be hidden if no one really bothers to look.

I know a guy who *was* legally married and then got divorced.

He and his shack-up have been using photo copies of that “whited-out” marriage license with the shack-up’s name filled in over the whited-out real name for over 30 years as “proof of marriage” for everything from school records to tax filing to bank loans.

For whatever reason, no one the photocopy has been presented to has ever questioned it.

You’d think banks and the IRS, especially would insist they provide a new replacement copy obtained from the originating court house but they never have.

[and it’s stupid on their part because MD recognizes no “common law marriages”]

As a contrast, when I got married, I had to provide an original an SS# card, birth certificate and marriage license before I was allowed onto hubby’s health insurance policy.
