doesn’t a candidate have to prove they fit constitutional requirements to be president BEFORE they can even get their name on a ballot?

Interesting question.

Political parties are not constitutional entities; they can select their nominee any way they like.

The November election -IS- a constitutionally controlled event; one would think that the FEC has to see proof before putting someone on the ballot.

Yes but now we have a political party that views the Constitution as an historical curiosity rather then the “law of the land”.

My question is, ‘If Obama turns to be constitutionally ineligible to be President will anyone care? Will the media actually make an issue of it?’

If it turns out that Obama is ineligible it will be dismissed by the MSM and the other “beautiful people” as irrelevant.
