“If the guy has a passport, he has an official birth certificate.”

Just an FYI. I was born in S. Korea. I do not have a birth certificate. I only have paperwork of my adoption of which does not include a BC. I was naturalized back in the early 1980s and have had a US passport since mid 1980s.

Somewhere my BC exists.....

I was based near Madrid and decided to get a passport. Born in NJ and my BC was in CA. So, I got a certified copy of my BC from NJ. Got a picture taken on base. Sent along a copy of my NATO card and CA drivers license. A gal on base sent the stuff to the US Embassy in Madrid.

So me and another guy got our US passports that way. We just wanted to have something to brag about with stamped passports from the Isle of Skye, Scotland to Spain. We took a month of leave. THAT was FUN.

OK, so you don’t need a birth certificate. But you did have to have naturalization papers. You can’t get a passport just on your word.

Neither did Obama. He had to have something to prove who he was.

Who knows? Maybe he just Photoshopped something. Maybe the feds aren’t as discriminating as bloggers and FReepers.
