If Obama’s parents weren’t married, it wouldn’t be a legal disqualification, but the revelation might lose him some votes.

I don’t believe we ever had an illegitimate person as president (tho plenty of b@st@rds). Wasn’t Alexander Hamilton illegitimate? He was okay as our first Secretary of the Treasury.

We're talking Democats here. Illegitimacy would probably gain him votes.

Illegitimacy isn't the issue. The issue is natural born in the USA. Hamilton was born in the Caribbean and could not be President (and never ran.)

By the way, the flap over the original birth certificate is likely that Barack Obama is named Barry Dunham on the form using his single mother's last name with no mention of his father.
