Just talked to my contractor buddy - New Town is not flooded, nor is it expected to be. It was built 7-9 feet higher than the currently predicted crest, which puts it at about the height of the '93 flood.

We are on the north side of O'Fallon and well above the flood. However, I was shocked at the amount of water I could see north of 370 this morning on the way into work, compared to what was visible last night on the way home.

/Still waiting for my FEMA card or check...

I am on the north side of O’Fallon as well. Salt River Rd. was open this morning (suprisingly). However, all the farm land north of Salt River Rd. is flooded. It looks like a lake from the top of the Highway 79 overpass going into Old Town St. Peters.

That’s excellent news about New Town. Let’s hear it for forward thinking.
