An Edmonton Sun picture of former U.S. president Bill Clinton, holding hands in Edmonton with an unidentified woman, is getting international attention.

Entertainment website TMZ.com picked the picture up with headline "Bill Clinton: Hands-On Experience."

"President Bill Clinton is always giving a helping hand to his fellow man -- or woman, as the case may be," reads a cutline.

Clinton was in Edmonton Friday to give a lecture on various global issues, including Canada's relationship with the U.S., at Delta Edmonton South.

In the photo, Clinton holds the hand of an unidentified woman, as he waves at supporters and leaves the hotel after his lecture, where tickets ran $149 a pop.

Ah-HA! The perfect symbiotic relationship! Or maybe they’re mutually-parasitic?

Either way...they’re both bottom-feeding worms!

Well...

It does look like an intern.

That "deer in the headlights" look.

Forget being red headed, the question is...did you learn any manners growing up? We don’t even know who she is, so she is not a public figure and even if she was, it is downright rude to make those types of comments about someone based on their looks.

So, after reviewing a few of your your comments over the past few months, I see absolutely no reference made to the hideous, and ever present, Helen Thomas pictures that are always posted on threads here, even though you participated in some of those threads. I also see no reference to other similar comments made by other Freepers on this very thread. Why is that? Why did you single me out? Are you just being selective in your criticism or are you having a particularly bad day and decided to unload on me? I'm sure I could go through your posted comments since you joined Free Republic and find something that you posted I would find offensive. The only difference is I'm not thin skinned like you are.

I'm sure I can come up with something, Mr. or Ms. Perfect. Would you like me to try?

Actually, I finally got fed up with the rude posters that make snide comments about people's looks. Also, you were not the first (#16) and if you will look at #17 & 26 on that thread, two other people agreed with me..

Without delving into the normal psychobabble explanations as to why people do what they do... which would be rude on my part since I don't know you...I will say that I can't quite grasp why an intellectually and socially mature adult would enjoy making fun of a physiologically and/or psychologically challenged person. As far as perfection, we are all perfect in God's eyes.

Perhaps you should consider the fact that Paula Jones has appeared nude, by her own choice, in both Playboy and Penthouse magazines. Thankfully, I have not had opportunity to view either. She is a very, shall we say, public person, who has opened themselves up to such public scrutiny. If she doesn't want to attract comments such as I and others have made, perhaps Ms. Jones should keep her mouth shut and keep her clothes on......

We weren't discussing Paula Jones, we were discussing the unknown woman in the picture with Bill Clinton and your comments about her looking like a dog pointing at a covey of quail.

Yes, Paula has held herself up for ridicule, although again, only an immature person would stoop to that level. She should actually be looked upon with pity for her low self esteem, not ridiculed.

However, this woman has not done anything of the sort, someone apparently just snapped this as a "gotcha" picture of Clinton and she cannot be classified as a public figure if we don't even know who she is.

Wrong! Someone wrote that this new girl was cute and Bill Clinton only dates cute women. I objected and made the comment about a very PUBLIC Paula Jones that you objected to. This type of topic change is called "thread creep" and you've got to pay attention or you wind up looking like the fool that you are.

If you are going to sit there on your high and mighty perch and chastise someone who makes a comment with which you disagree or find objectionable at least take the time to get your facts straight......

It really doesn’t matter who the comment was directed toward, as I pointed out in my post, it is immature, so my criticism is still correct. Speaking of “high and mighty”, that description fits you better than me because you apparently think you should be exempt from the type of juvenile criticism you heap on others about their looks. Most people quit that type of behavior after grade school, you are the one that looks foolish.
