No error. We were never a Christian nation. Maybe your argument should include the Constitution, i.e “what the founders said.”

America was never a “Christian nation” in the sense that it has no official religion, as it should be. However, it was founded by Christian people so there was a “Christian” aura to the early America.

However, this America also allowed Jewish immigrants to become part of this great nation, and one, Chaim Solomon, became Gen. George Washington’s financial angel in supplying the Continental Army in their hour of need. He died a very poor but proud American.

Maryland, where I was born, passed the “Tolerance Act” which gave everyone in the state, freedom of religion. That was a major advance in religious rights, as opposed to Peter Stuyvesant’s expelling Jews from New York (Hey, Peter, we’re back - check out the Broadway show writers).

Obama has no idea what America is because he was raised in a Marxist-rich environment where religion was not a major factor. That is why he became a “Christian again” when he met Rev. Wright, but this brand of Christianity was a black extremist, marxist-tinted “black liberaton theology”,based on the marxist “liberation theology” of Latin America and the wacked out Jesuits of the US.

When Obama says that he sat in Rev. Wright’s pew, I think he meant “Rev. Wrights pee-ew”.
