Ok, I forgot I can talk about one of them. One night, many years ago, at least 18, I came home from my job on swing shift and saw a lion crossing across the space between my house and the neighbors(a rural area, lots of space between houses). I went inside and told my wife to stay inside no matter what. I grabbed my rifle and went outside again and he was trying to kill my neighbors dog, I shot it, and it carried on something awful, they simply go crazy when hit. It died, but the dog died also. The local authorities said it was a case of defense and I was not charged.

This was in an area of about 300 people living in a housing area, this lion had no fear what so ever and thought the dogs, and maybe humans when the dogs ran out, were a great food source.
