I live in Tijeras, just a little former pueblo off RT. 66 in NM east of Albuquerque.
Of course I’m aware of the problems with cougars and coyotes in CA. (Hey, I wish they’d eat some CA transplants that moved here!) Where they’re “protected” they lose all fear of man. Here, even the coyotes move quick when they see somebody.
I used to seldom see a cougar in CA while I was in the woods, now I see them all the time but enviros insist that they are dying out. BS, I would like to stake some greenies out in the woods and smear them with steak fat and see what happens to them!
