The problem is that liberals control the infostructure from near-cradle to grave. The Internet has weakened their grip only a small and insignificant amount. The bad news is that even if conservatives made it a fervent cause to retake the infostructure today, it would take many years to make any real progress. All the while, the insanity will continue.
