Why not? White conservatives are voting for McCain over principle.

Do you prefer Obama? I understand your frustration, I have it myself. I'm upset that John McCain supports NAFTA, buys into "globull wahrming" (although that seems to be changing, we need more nudging there), McCain-Feingold, and lax border protection. However, his judges to the bench will be better than Obama's, he's pro-gun (well, I'll give him a B), pro-life, and wants to drill offshore for oil. I know he is far from perfect, but do you want Obama?

A few months ago, I wasn't going to vote at all or third party if it was McCain. I spent a lot of time meditating and in prayer over this and in has come into my heart that to do the right thing is to vote for McCain. McCain has his flaws but I cannot be part of the machine that will be Obama into the White House, if it happens anyhow, at least I know in good conscience I did the right thing.
