In response to Obama's claim that Republicans will use race to stoke fear, Lt. Col Allen West, candidate for Congress in Florida's 22 District issued this release:
My advice to Senator Obama is to run as a Man and Leader, and the American people will evaluate you as such, not as a victim. This is a Presidential race, based solely on a capacity to lead the United States of America. It is not about skin tone...however, perhaps we should come to expect these immature statements.
It also seems rather humorous that the Presidential candidate who was supposed to be such a "uniter" and transcend race is the one talking about it the most. If Senator Obama was confident in his abilities and character, he would not need to create a crutch for failure. Senator Obama has just tipped his hand, any criticism of him and his policies will be directly attributed to racism. I congratulate Senator Obama for taking race relations in America back some 30 years.

I believe that this is the same Lt. Col. Allen West that received a non-judicial punishment for firing a pistol at near an Iraqi prisoner & threatening to kill him if he didn’t spill his guts. The Iraqi was a policeman who was working with the insurgents in attacking the 4th ID. Basically cost him a very successful career.
Now does anybody think that the Republican party is going to touch Col. West with a ten foot pole after that? He’ll get no money. It’s a darn shame, too.
Oh, apparently Col. West had the right guy since the successful interrogation led to the capture of the cell who was responsible for the attacks. There were no subsequent attacks.

Allen West should be heading the GOP ticket, not Go-Along-Get-Along McCain who never saw a Democrat with whom he wouldn't compromise and stab his own Party in the back.
West would wipe up the floor with that pu$$y, Obama.
He needs to be given a prominent speaking spot at the Rep. convention.

When a real conservative man like Allen West is on the scene it is imperative that we support him. His voice will not remain silent if he makes it to Congress. And from there - God only knows.

Comment: The handling of this clown to date has been disgraceful. A Good campaign billboard would have been "Hussein" 2008 "He has the Wright stuff." Then show an empty suit or "Hussein" 2008 "He has the Wright stuff." Then show him in his Muslim garb. Refer to him mainly as "The democratic candidate," never by name except where unavoidable. However, the opportunity has probably passed. To handle this clown by discussing his "ideas" is to legitimize him. What a mistake! He IS the issue.
No matter where he goes there should be someone in the audience asking him where he stands on "Reparations" for blacks. Give him no rest-reparations, reparations, reparations. Play his economic policy speech that he made in one of the Carolina's-play it over and over. He stumbled all over himself all over himself. Demand he debate, which he notoriously cannot do.
Obama can run as a man and a leader? Not going to happen. He’s too much of a racist to be either.

Without a teleprompter, he is not only an empty suit, he is a man who cannot make a coherent sentence or answer a simple question. Moreover, Obama will place this nation on a fast track to complete government control.

If we can just get LTC West elected to Congress then we have done our jobs as U.S. citizens.
With the RNC doing little to support this great man, it’s now up to us.

I heard that Allen West will be giving a speech this Saturday addressing Obama and the use of “race” in politics.
The GO WEST campaign will be videotaping the speech and it should be released sometime next week.
