Let me ask you this.

Do masons swear Secret oaths?

Above all, brothers, do not swear oaths by heaven, by earth, or by any other object. Instead, let your "Yes" mean yes and your "No" mean no! Otherwise, you may fall under condemnation.

James 5:12

Do they have Secret practices?

The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

John 18:19-20

Listen, you want to practice that stuff, it's a free country. But, you are better off not doing so. Is that organization something Christ would join? Think about that.

“Oaths”

No, there are not “secret oaths” — there are “oaths.”And, unless you happen to be a Quaker, you know that you are misinterpreting the scripture. That parable has to with Jews using ignorance of gentiles to swear oaths that sounded like oaths, but were meaningless (specifically, swearing by the “throne of God,” instead of “God). It was a general parable regarding truthfulness. Maybe you should pray and get filled with the Holy Spirit — otherwise parables don’t make sense.

“Secret Practices”

No, they don’t Just secret recognition symbols. But on that, that was a warning against gnostic beliefs (e.g., secret ways in the heaven/Kabbalah, etc).

I was privy to many military secrets in the Army. Are you saying the US Army is violating the Bible? Thought not.
