The two presidential candidates will discuss matters of interest for the latin american community in this country.
The Angeles.- The two main presidential candidates, Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama, will be the guests of honor at the third Latin American National Congress, that will be carried out on July 18 and 19 in Los Angeles.
The organizers confirmed the participation of the two politicians in the event, that will be performed in an exclusive hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, where it is expected that more than 300 organizations of 20 cities will attend.
On the first day, McCain will be presented during lunch and Obama at dinner. The two virtual presidential candidates will discuss matters of interest for the latin american community in this country.
In the First National Latin American Congress of 2006, 70 resolutions on diverse issues were taken and 260 local and national organizations assisted, in 2007 300 cities attended and 98 resolutions were adopted.
Among the issues undertaken during both congresses were educational reform, migration, public health, urban development and foreign policy, among others.
The organizers advanced that they prepare an ambitious agenda to promote the registration of millions of latin Americans as new voters in order to continue growing like a political force that can influence the elections next November.
The leader of Latin-American Mexican Brotherhood and the Mexican-American Political Association (MAPA), Nativo López, indicated that the young voters can make the difference in the electoral mobilization.
'In this electoral year we should move and act as a united family and no one is left behind', indicated López, who considered that another of the issues that will be emphasized in the debate will be driver's licenses for ILLEGAL aliens.
Among the organizations that will attend the event are the Willie C. Velásquez Institute, the League of Latin-American United Citizens (LULAC), the Mexican-american Educational and Legal Defense Fund (MALDEF) and the National Network of Day Laborers (NDLON).
As well as the Hispanic Federation, the Educational Project of Registration of Voters of the Southwest (SVREP), the National Alliance of Latin-American and Caribbean Communities (NALACC) and the Hispanic National Council on Environment (NHEC).
The Event will be on:

And I am suppose to hold my nose and vote for that SOB!????
McCain or Osama will be our next President.
Republicans could have rallied around a law & order conservative like Rudy, or a social conservative like Huckabee, or a fiscal conservative like Mitt, or they could have conservatives like Hunter or Tancredo or Thompson. Conservatives failed to capture the attention of Republicans, effectively removing themselves as a factor this election.
If McCain loses and the rats keep the Congress, the Republicans will run a moderate several steps to the left of McCain next time, as they can no longer count on the support of conservatives.
If McCain wins and the economy improves conservatives will get no credit, because they didn't elect him. If the economy/WOT/taxes gets bad the public will blame McCain and elect rats. rats now occupy the seats of Denny Hastert, J D Hayworth, Rick Santorum, Tom DeLay, John Hostettler, and Henry Bonilla. Who is next?
Your post is a case study in why the Republican Party is dead.
ROFL got that right
“Is it the same number of lies McCain tells Americans and Conservatives in particular?”
(sigh) almost.
I also noticed it isn't the worst of the bunch. Aiyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
You’re almost certainly correct.
Well, La Raza. I mean, commies are real bad but, ...La Raza!
I’m still praying for divine intervention before the Republican Convention. It’s sick that Juan is attending this event with Obama. What does that say about McCain? Already reaching across the aisle to Democrats. Juan won’t even meet with Billy Graham, but he finds time to meet with La Razza every other week. I’ve given up on McCain, their is no way I will ever vote for the traitor. As a matter of fact, I have yet to talk to one Conservative who will.
Not if 20 million illegals are granted amnesty by Juan or Obama.
How are we gonna stop anything when the Democrats have 20 million new voters as soon as Juan or Obama grants them amnesty? Wake Up!
Yeah, yeah and yeah. Nothing ever changes does it. It gets worse while we gab.
>FGS- just as he gets a clue about drilling- look at this!<
He is maddeningly schizophrenic, isn’t he?
They will both go in there and try to one-up either other in give-aways.
Of the three Marx brothers, Grouchy, Harpy, and Karl, Harpy left the building and still nobody is laughing.
EXACTLY what constitutes “endorsement”.
If camp McCain were smart it would pull out at the last minute, with no warning, and a press conference that states for all the nation to hear, that he will not attend a conference where one of the endorsers is the Communist Party. Assuming they would not have gotten wind of it, this would make Camp Obama, and Obama himself look at best like clueless fools.
