I agree with you, and GOP Senators and Congressmen are more likely to aggresively oppose an amnesty program proposed by President Obama than President MacCain, which is the major reason I'm unconvinced conservatives should waste scarce resources fighting for MacCain. Given his capriciousness, MacCain is unreliable as a conservative and we could ultimately lose more under him than Obama.
