LOL....I feel your pain. The stretch between Dalhart, TX and Raton, NM is one of the most desolate on earth. Drove a few times through that area myself and no aliens abducted me either :(

My stepmother asked me when I got back if I was missing any hours.....All I saw was one wild boar in Big Bend, a few coyotes (animal) and crows.

I drove that during the nights and saw some weird **** in the skies, but rationally attributed it to mining operations or nat. gas burning "just over that hill."

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
