Seems I remember before every Presidential election where a Republican candidate won, the Liberal MSM constantly conducted polls that always showed the Democrat candidate ahead.

Why is that??

Why the long post.

Why didn’t you just say: “Vote for Obama for President”

That is the net effect.

McCain is not good enough for you, but Obama is?

Are you in favor of surrendering to the terrorists, wrecking the economy of the US, and stuffing the courts with leftist activist judges? THAT is what you are going to get if you don’t face reality and vote for McCain.

I agree...it always seems the liberal candidate is winning until they lose. (i.e. Gore in Florida)

"Do you really think things can get worse than the 8 years President Bush has given us? I even voted for the guy twice"

A liberal voting for Bush? LOL!

Yes, it is just horrible to have had a robust economy before the Democrats took control of both Houses on Congress. It's just horrible to keep more of your paycheck via the Bush Tax cuts which reduced the entire federal income tax rates.

And it's just horrible to have a steadfast leader who has made this world safer by actually getting things done and not sitting around talking about it.

1) During the Bush Administration Libya gives up its nuclear weapons program.

2) During the Bush Administration the black market from Pakistan led by A.Q.Khan for nuclear weapons technology is broken up.

3) During the Bush Administration North Korea begins dismantling their plutonium enrichment reactors.

4) During the Bush Administration Israel and the U.S.A. destroy Syria's nuclear weapons enrichment reactors.

5) During the Bush Administration, Saddam Hussein who said quite clearly while in jail awaiting his trial that he would have had the U.N. sanctions broken and be in full production of WMDs within a year. That would be the years 2004 - 2005 approximately that Saddam would have been re-armed with WMDs. It now goes without saying the obvious that Saddam will not be getting nuclear weapons anytime soon. Nor will he be directly funding and training the terror group 'Islamic Jihad' which is al-Qaeda and whom blew up two U.S. embassies. (see the recent: Iraqi Perspectives Project).

6) During the Bush Administration the U.S.A. has nuclear weapon ambitious Iran pinned in on both sides from Afghanistan and Iraq which is pure strategic genius.

Under Clinton the countries Pakistan and India successfully test nuclear weapons and North Korea begins plutonium enrichment.

"forgot to add: Welcome to FR. Watch your back, you have a trollish odor."

HABIFF33 is a liberal. Uses blanket statements such as "horrible 8 years," "police state under Bush," and the mother of all liberal terms: "time for a revolution."

Dishonesty runs deep in liberals.

Its a troll. It posted and ran away. I apologize to everyone for posting first as to any FReeper and then checking.I should have checked first and then ignored it. I really believe we should not encourage them.

One quibble: there seems to be a lot of support for some sort of revolution or serious rebellion, only it needs to be against the progressive fronts of media, academia and the donks. Part of the national political tension is this state of irresolution where we bitch and they just keep on upping the pressure on an hourly basis.

The superior numbers of Ds vs Rs is, in part, exacerbated by those of us who have left the GOP and declared ourselves Independents. Then the pollsters are justified in over- weighting the Ds. However, there is no justification to under-weight seniors in any poll, especially to the degree done in this one. We are more than 14% of the population and we vote. I just hope most of the conservatives of all ages can find the resolve to hold their noses and vote for McCain to stop this latest Stalinist incarnation.

Absurd number of democrats polled vs Republicans.

The funniest thing about these polls to me is....So many people accept these polls to the extent that they look for party identification breakdown at the bottom of these polls. They are assuming that somehow the methology, party ID etc, determine if the poll is credible or not. I say they are just making up the polls period, and then filling whatever numbers in at the bottom that they like.
