Joe Lieberman would be much better for our country than Obama.
If we could be relatively certain McCain wouldn’t die, it would be a pretty good move. Lieberman would assure victory. A republican would get appointed to the senate in his place (note that even if Connecticutt had a rule about “party”, it wouldn’t apply because Joe isn’t a Democrat).
And in 4 years, if McCain quit, Lieberman would actually have the leg up for the DEMOCRATIC party nomination, while we’d get a shot at nominating a true conservative.
Of course, the idea of Joe L. for VP on our ticket is rediculous. And it will never happen. But there would be some good parts to anotherwise absurd choice.
The biggest plus would be relative to McCain picking some RINO who would then have a leg up for the republican party nomination in 4 years.
Have you seen the size of that lump on McCain's left cheek lately. It looks like he's got a golf ball in his jaw. We'd better pray for a good VP, because I don't think Juan is going to be around long after his inauguration.
