Say, doesn't Unca Teddy own a gas-guzzling, oil-spewing/dumping yacht? I've heard, because if high petrol prices, boaters are really taking it in the pants, so to speak.
I have a feeling (and no, it isn't gas) Unca Teddy will be exempt...

Whoop! There it is!
Kennedy dumping diesel fuel into Nantucket Sound

He asked the crewman "what the hell are you doing?"
When told that he was moored in coastal waters near shellfish beds and people swimming, the man replied, "whatever."

Classic Rush. Reading this in text does not do the story justice. Rush had his Heflin impersonation nailed.

I remember hearing it on the radio eons ago.
My wife's liberal relatives were busting me for listening to him. I told them what you are really missing is the comedy.
I then repeated Rush's imitation of the Senator and the story and they busted a gut laughing :-).....

Oh my gosh, I remember there were actual T-shirts of that picture of Kennedy “offshore drilling.” That was the funniest thing. Someone must have that photo SOMEWHERE.
Did Rush say this again today? I didn’t listen because I thought he was on vacation. I’d heard his impression before and it is hilarious.

That would be darn credible if it were not said by a radio actor.
