I can live with that, whether I agree with it or not, but saying that they have different souls sounds a lot to me like what people used to say re: whites vs. blacks.
It sounds terrible to the modern ear, I agree.
Me, I tended to look at being “chosen” like pulling the black bean. All the other souls were smart enough to get the heck out of Dodge when God asked who would be the “Covenent People.”
