As I said in my first post (which by the way, was only about half tongue in cheek, not like this one), personally I do not go in for such public demonstrations, but, if that is what it takes, yes.

And by the way, one person beating another is ASSAULT; it is NOT anarchy, nor is it “mob rule”. It is assult.

Anarchy is when the government has failed in its responsibilities at almost every level, criminals are not held accountable for their actions and are left free to prey on the public, and law abiding citizens are, for the most part, left to fend for themselves.

Mob rule occurs when the citizens get tired of anarchy.

And if we don’t fix our badly broken legal system, you might want to prepare yourself for some serious low-brow, Muqtada al-sadr crap.

LOL. So it was just half tongue in cheek! That's good. I was taking your post too seriesly.

So rather than vigilante justice outside the bounds of the law, you're just suggesting that people perform extra-judicial ASSAULT and then turn themselves into the judicial system for the consequences of meting out extra-judicial punishment.

Sounds fair. Except that she wasn't planning on taking her lumps but began by lying about the guy's action.

Oh, and if you're planning on meting out some of what we used to call "Lynch Law" justice, muqtada-style here in Texas, you'd better be ready to have your own damn head blown off and the State will back up the person you were ASSAULTing based on self-defence.

Easy to talk big on this anonymous forum, Wayne. But no group of big-talkers are going to get up off their fatasses from the keyboard and go lynch someone these days. Thank goodness. Enjoy your fantasies, but, no.
